George and Mark Webster,
descendants of the Lutes and Webster families of East Point, were gracious
enough to loan me a large number of historical documents from East Point, from
the period 1860-1941. A digital copy of all the documents has been given to the
Lake Erie Islands Historical Society.
A few of the documents are shown
below. I'll add some more in the future, and if anyone on the island would like
to see the entire collection I'll be glad to show them to you on my laptop.

1925 Offer to Sell Future East Point Manor Property
Julia Webster's offer to sell 11 acres to Harry Payer for $7,500. This is about half of the land that the East Point manor and estate were built on.
