I was glad to discover that this site existed. I read about it in the PIB Gazette. I have grown up gowing to the islands. I spent many summers at the Lonz Winery and was very saddened by what happened last summer. The Middle Bass Island Web Site is sure an informational and well done site for a small island. The articles on Lonz Winery were ones I have not seen. It would be nice to read how the injured people are progressing on their healing.

We think your site is great. We miss Middle Bass, but after Fred had open heart surgery 25 years ago he could no longer take the cold, so we 6/6 for a while, then the trips got to be too much. We love to hear from our friends from up there and miss them greatly. Had a lot of fun while it lasted. It's still home to us and we shall return someday. I am very impressed with your site. Our son told me of your page. My family purchased a home in the Club area in the Spring of 1958. Things have changed quite a bit in the last several years. But the island life will remain the nice quiet setting in the future, I hope.

We enjoyed your web site very much. My family and I recognized ourselves in some of your photos on the ice and land also, and had fun doing so.
