Middle Bass Island - Petersen Woods Dedication October3, 2004

The Black Swamp Conservancy purchased Petersen Woods, just to the west of Kuehnles' Wildlife Area, a few months ago with funds from the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund.

The pictures below are of the dedication ceremony on October 3. There is also a picture of the new sign at the Kuehnle Wildlife Area to replace the one that was vandalized last spring. If only they had spelled Kuehnle correctly on the new sign. We also added a picture of the Perusek Memorial Wetlands sign across the road from the Petersen sign.
